So today I’m talking all about the most affordable Chicago suburbs. The way I determined this was looking at the median sales price for each area in Chicago southwest suburbs. So let’s start with the most expensive and work our way up to the number one most affordable  Chicago Southwest suburb.

Number eight is New Lenox with a median sales price of $305,000. Number seven is Manhattan with a median sales price of $275,000. Number six is Tinley Park with a median sales price of $250,000. Number five is Lockport with a median sales price of$246,500. Number four is Oak Forest with a median sales price of $204,950 Number three is Romeoville with a median sales price of $201,800. Number two is crest Hill with a median sales price of $186,000. And number one our most affordable Chicago Southwest suburb is Joliet with a median sales price of $145,900.
